X & Y Axis
The width of the graph is 24 hours, divided
up along the bottom line by one hour incruments. The left and
right sides of the graph are darkened to represent darkness.
The height of the graph is 0 - 3 metres with 1 metres incruments
marked.
Tides:
The graph displays the tides in a sine wave
- the highest point is the top of the tide and the lowest point
is the bottom of the tide.
The percentage marked half way through each tide is the percentage
of tidal flow. The year's biggest tidal variation is 100% and
the year's smallest variation is 0%.
Moon:
The moon rise and set times are marked across
the bottom of the graph - The moon image is representative of
the current phase.
Sun:
The sun rise and set times are marked inside
the sun graphic at the top of the graph.
Solunar Peak:
The position of the red vertical column along
the base line indicates the time of the solunar peak, the hieght
of the column is a percentage indication of how good the fishing
will be. There are severel peaks throughout a 24hr period, I
have only indicated what I think is the best.
